Our client is the worlds leading specialist in global investments. Worldwide, their broad range of clients includes pension and superannuation funds, insurance and investment companies, mutual funds and investment trusts, endowments and foundations, banks and other financial organisations.
This position is primarily focused in performing the portfolio and trade administration tasks and duties for the Sydney portfolio management team.
The successful candidate will be exposed to the Global Investment Operations processes through the Portfolio administration & Trade administration role but will also be exposed to the other areas of Investment Operations in due course.
The main responsibilities for the role are:
* Cash Forecast Reporting
* Exposure Reporting & Valuation
* Portfolio Management, relationship management
* Trade Instruction
* Custodian and Broker trade management
Candidates need to be a graduate in finance/economics with previous Operations experience within the funds management/financial services industry. Knowledge of global trade settlement in major instruments is a major advantage but not essential, candidates will preferably have a working knowledge of Portfolio Valuation & Reporting and a good understanding of major financial instruments.
